cutting tree laws for front of lawn??????????

hey there, i was wondering of anyone knows about the bylaws about cutting branches off of trees or cutting down trees that are on your front property, any help is appreciated, thanx, zeaner.

I am not sure of the bylaw about this, but where abouts do you live...Prince Rd? I had a tree on my front lawn cut down too on Friday and let me say I am NOT happy about it at all! The tree was healthy and atleast 25-30 years old.
