Well i live in Windsor, and just recently i decided to call my parents out in the county to see how they're doing. My mother was quick to inform me, that they had been victims of a robbery.
They woke up in the morning, and doing their morning routine of going through the garden picking out weeds, and what not, they discovered that their garden gnome was stolen.
Personally i found it a bit amusing, i know these litle wonders of Garden ceramics have been victims of sticky fingers for sometime now, but i can't help but wonder what it is exactly that makes them so appealing to thieves?
Is there a thief in the city, with a massive population of these little characters?
Does he feel that they are being held hostage at people's homes, and he is the Knight in shining armour, out to rescue these gnomes from a life of peacefully sitting in a flower bed?
Or do these little guys come to life after midnight, running off to some Gnome Utopia, where they can secretly plot the destruction of the world, and the BIG people who for years have shown them no respect?
Just my two cents. Please feel free to reply, especially if you know where these little guys are hiding. |

If anyone has ever seen the music video from MatthewGoodBand, i forget the song but Matt Good and Dale Hearnhart Jr. Steal someones garden Gnome, and take it on a trip around the world, and they take picture of the gnome in diffent major city and location all around teh globe, and then after weeks of this, they return the gnome, and the picture they took, with just the gnome in it.. to the house it was stolen from..
maybe thats what happening ... |
